Get ahead of the game

The Facility Management Association of Australia (FMA) is hosting its annual conference and exhibition as a virtual event on Monday, June 1.

The event is titled Ideaction.2020 – Ahead of the Game 2020: Virtualising the FM Industry, and will focus on what is ahead in the facilities management industry, and how to embrace new technologies and trends.

The program will include a range of online features such as webinars, live panel discussions, online presentations and interactive Q&A sessions.

The FMA says that as an essential service, the facilities management industry must adapt to the current circumstances in order to continue operating safely and efficiently throughout the lockdown.

Keynote speakers include David Rendall from The Freak Factory and Mark Tierney, a global economist at AustralianSuper.

Rendall will speak about how to adapt and flourish in times of unprecedented crisis, and Tierney will share about learning the right lessons from the COVID-19 crisis.
