GBCA announces further speakers for TRANSFORM 2026
Early-bird pricing for the GBCA’s annual conference closes on Friday, January 30.

The Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) has announced another round of speakers for TRANSFORM 2026, which will take place in Sydney immediately after AIRAH’s 2026 HVAC Innovation Conference (HVAC26).
Among the newly announced speakers announced are:
- The Hon Rob Stokes, Former NSW Minister for Planning & Public Spaces & Group Executive – Housing, Anglicare
- Dr Bronwyn King AO, Co-Founder, Air Club and Special Adviser Indoor Air Quality, Burnet Institute
- Professor Mathew Aitchison, CEO, Buildings 4.0
- Angela Buckley, General Manager – Build to Rent, Mirvac.
The GBCA says TRANSFORM 2026 will feature leading global and local voices tackling the challenges defining the built environment’s future. Topics include net zero and climate resilience, nature-positive outcomes, circular design and material innovation, with Dr King focusing on the link between indoor air quality (IAQ) and occupant health.
The conference is billed to offer “practical insights, real-world case studies and hands-on discussions designed to help attendees turn ambition into action”.
One week, two conferences
Those travelling to Sydney for HVAC26 (March 16 – 17) might be interested in extended their stay by a couple of days to catch TRANSFORM (March 18 – 19).
Early-bird tickets for HVAC26 are available through AIRAH’s booking system until the end of Monday, February 2. Early-bird registration costs $790 for AIRAH members and $990 for non-members, with those prices increasing by $60 and $65 respectively once the offer expires.
You can book your early-bird ticket to TRANSFORM 2026 via the GBCA website before January 30.
