The ESG in Real Estate Summit will be held at the Pullman Hyde Park Sydney over June 8–9 as in-person and hybrid event.
Short for environmental social governance, ESG is the next step in corporate governance. Simply put, it represents an approach to evaluating the extent to which a corporation works on behalf of social goals that go beyond the role of a corporation to maximise profits on behalf of the corporation’s shareholders.
“The imperative for real estate owners and investors to respond to the growing impacts of climate change, societal pressure and new regulations has never been greater,” say the planners behind the ESG in Real Estate Summit, “and finding the best way to measure and reduce ESG-related risk has become a key priority.”
Featuring more than 50 speakers representing global and local ESG leaders from real estate asset owners and investors; the second annual ESG in Real Estate Summit will explore how players in the Australasian market are adapting to the new paradigm around ESG disclosure reporting, and the role new technologies and data can play in bridging the gaps.

- Sustainable finance disclosure regulation (SFDR) in the real estate industry
