The University of Melbourne is collaborating with Professor Duncan McFarlane to hold a workshop called “Digital Manufacturing on a Shoestring” in Melbourne on Tuesday, July 23.
The workshop has been developed by McFarlane and the Institute for Manufacturing team at the University of Cambridge to develop individual digital solutions for which the total cost of development is minimal using low-cost, easily accessible “off the shelf” components.
It has been extremely successful in the UK, and there is now interest to roll the program out in India, Thailand, New Zealand, South Korea, many European countries and Australia.

Date: Tuesday, July 23
Time: 4–6pm
