Energy retailer Flow Power is running a webinar to show how businesses can reduce energy bills by taking advantage of demand response. This is where energy users voluntarily reduce usage in times of extreme demand.
The event will bring together experts to discuss how businesses have unlocked value and reaped the benefits of managing their power use over summer. It will look specifically at the “energy rewards” for refrigeration businesses.
Flow Power helps a number of cold storage and refrigeration businesses participate in demand response, for example, through pre-cooling.
“During certain market conditions, where demand is greater than electricity supply, businesses can help flip the balance by reducing power usage,” says Flow Power. “In this webinar, we discuss the value that these businesses unlocked including minimising power costs and receiving financial rewards.”
