AIRAH is holding a Streamline webinar about humidity control in HVAC on Thursday, March 23.
The session will detail the basics of humidity theory and the factors influencing which humidity parameter is the best choice in HVAC Control.
Mansour Nevon, an application engineer from Vaisala, will present the session.
Nevon says humidity control is important in HVAC because although many people working in the HVAC field are familiar with the relative humidity (RH) as a parameter in HVAC controls, measuring RH is not always the best option.
“At times there are other choices that will make the conditions more stable or the system commissioning easier,” he says.
Some of the parameters that are typically used will be addressed in the webinar.
“We will go through some of the basics of humidity theory and some of the factors influencing which humidity parament is the best choice in HVAC control, such as relative humidity, dew point, enthalpy, and wet bulb temperature,” says Nevon.
Key takeaways from this 40-minute Streamline session will be: basics of humidity theory, factors influencing which humidity parameter is the best choice in HVAC control, and what parameters to use.
The webinar will be especially beneficial not only for people working in the HVAC field but also anyone else interested in the topic.
The webinar is free for AIRAH members and $30 for non members, and will be held from 3.30–4.30pm (AEDT) on Thursday, March 23. For more information and to register, click here.
