Building 4.0 CRC’s Annual Conference

Building 4.0 CRC is holding its third annual conference in Melbourne on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. This year the event will focus on accelerating innovation into action.

The organisers say that innovation has never been more critical amidst a global housing crisis, unprecedented building insolvencies, and shared net zero commitments.

“It is only through disrupting traditional practices and harnessing new systems, materials, processes and technologies that we will be able to deliver better buildings faster,” says Building 4.0 CRC.

The conference will provide a platform to share ideas, hear from innovators and meet decision makers. Some of the speakers include:

  • Dr Jerker Lessing – Adjunct Professor, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Stanford University
  • Andrew McKenzie – CEO, Kainga Ora New Zealand
  • Prof. Mathew Aitchison – CEO, Building 4.0 CRC
  • Tyler Pullen – Senior Technical Advisor, Terner Housing Innovation Labs, University of California Berkeley
  • Giulia Scagliotti – Researcher in Sustainable Design and Construction at the CIFE, Stanford University
  • Justine Prain – Project Manager, Energie Sprong UK.

The conference is being held at Monash College City Campus and general admission tickets cost $360. For more information and to register, visit the website.
