Free refrigerant course offers certification

REAL Alternatives 4 Life is a free online course that provides education on the safe use of alternative refrigerants such as ammonia, hydrocarbons and carbon dioxide.

The course was developed in response to the European F-Gas Regulation, which encourages wider adoption of refrigerants with a lower global warming potential (GWP). 

The program is now offering a completion certificate to anyone who completes all of the nine e-learning modules. It is available in 15 different languages.

With low-GWP refrigerants firmly established in the market, the REAL Alternatives e-learning modules represent a convenient and accessible way for HVAC&R professionals to learn more about working with these refrigerants.

REAL Alternatives 4 Life was developed last year, and more than 1,800 individuals have enrolled in the online course since it began.
