Ziehl-Abegg surpasses 1 billion euros in revenue

The German-headquartered manufacturer of fans and motor drives says its global team grew from 5,300 to 5,800 employees last year, with revenue increasing from €893 million (~AU$1.53 billion) to over €1 billion.

“This milestone is more than just a number to us – it represents the performance, commitment and cohesion of our teams around the world,” says Ziehl-Abegg CEO Joachim Ley.

“2025 was not an easy year. Exchange rates, tariffs and geopolitical uncertainties put many markets under pressure. That makes this result all the more impressive and demonstrates what we are capable of as a company.”

Despite being based in Europe, Ziehl-Abegg says its strongest markets are the USA and China. The company’s products are sold in more than 100 countries worldwide, including Australia.
