Siemens is promoting data-driven building service programs to identify issues earlier and achieve greater efficiencies and cost savings when compared to traditional building services.

“Data-driven digital services leverage data and analytics for greater intelligence into systems and operations, such as energy usage and emissions, failure-causing anomalies, code compliance, building systems interaction and occupant experience that impacts productivity,” says the company.

With visibility into these metrics, Siemens estimates that building operators can reduce time spent reacting to emergencies by 80 per cent, increase system availability by up to 95 per cent, and reduce equipment breakdown by 70–75 per cent.

“Digitalisation enables change, improves processes, and unlocks value-driven opportunities,” says the company. “Through digitalisation, information from systems within a building is converted into a massive amount of data. When collected and analysed properly, this can translate into actionable insights that will help to create smart buildings that are safer, more secure, more efficient, and resilient.

“As the complexity of building operations and maintenance grows, it is important to choose the right partner with the right approach,” says Siemens. “Underpinned by profound expertise in building operations, streamlined workflows and proven processes, experts at Siemens leverage the most advanced digital technologies to consistently achieve world-class delivery of its building services.

“As a focused technology company, Siemens is shaping an ecosystem to create smart buildings for a better tomorrow.”
