Panasonic will showcase its latest air conditioning and ventilation solutions at ARBS 2022, with a focus on creating comfortable and healthy spaces in both residential and commercial markets.

A range of Panasonic’s indoor air quality solutions will be on display, including the nanoe X technology designed to actively clean the air and surfaces within a room. According to the company, nanoe X uses OH radicals encapsulated in water to inhibit micro-organisms – including bacteria and viruses – as well as inhibiting mould, allergens and pollen, and reducing odours. The active air purification technology is featured across most of Panasonic’s product range, from wall split and ducted systems to commercial systems, and can be operated when cooling or heating is not switched on, to minimise energy consumption.

Panasonic will also display its ventilation systems, such as the Motion Sensor Ceiling Mounted Ventilation Fan. Equipped with an intelligent motion sensor, the ceiling fan detects human activity and turns on and off automatically when people enter and exit the room. Featuring a run-on timer, the fan can be configured to either switch off or switch to 24-hour ventilation mode, which runs at a low airflow setting to avoid mould and damp issues.

Panasonic will complement the focus of this year’s exhibition by also showcasing the IoT solutions that are offered across its air conditioning range. Panasonic’s alliance with Schneider Electric has realised the Smart Connectivity solution, which enables all Panasonic light commercial air conditioning and VRF systems with plug-and-play connection to Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS). Panasonic will also showcase the AC Smart Cloud solution, which allows an administrator to remotely control air conditioning systems and monitor the energy status in multiple locations via tablet or computer.

Another highlight of Panasonic’s line-up is the Comfort Cloud App for smart devices. Leveraging the same technology as Panasonic’s CONEX Zone Controller with built-in wi-fi, the Comfort Cloud App can individually manage up to eight zones in a home. Voice control is also possible through Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa devices.

On top of all this, visitors to ARBS 2022 will have the opportunity to learn more about Panasonic’s other air conditioning solutions, including the R32 Mini VRF Heat Pump, and CO2 condensing units from Hussman (a Panasonic company).

“Since the release of our first room air conditioner more than 60 years ago, Panasonic has become a global leader in air conditioning and ventilation through our dedication to producing best-in-class solutions for domestic and commercial applications,” says Jack Tey, Product Marketing Manager, Air Conditioning, Panasonic Australia.

“ARBS 2022 is a great opportunity to showcase our latest air conditioning solutions and highlight Panasonic’s evolving focus on air purification, smart controls and sustainable energy efficiency.”

Panasonic will be offering daily prizes at ARBS 2022, with visitors having the chance to win one of two Floor Standing nanoe X Air Purifiers. Further details will be available at the Panasonic stand (735) during the exhibition.
