Panasonic has released a new multifaceted bathroom heater and exhaust fan range. The FV-30BY1/FV-30BG3 bathroom heater and exhaust fan is built for Australia’s variable climates, keeping the bathroom warm in winter and circulating a cool breeze in summer.

The new range is suited for freestanding homes, including new builds and renovations.

Product Marketing Manager (Air Conditioning) at Panasonic, Ken Onoe, says bringing a product to market equipped to suit the unique needs of the Australian climate was top-of-mind for Panasonic.

“We know that comfort is essential for our customers, and we’re excited to introduce this new heating and exhaust range that maintains its utility and purpose across all seasons,” he says.

The “heat” function on the product can be turned on to warm the average bathroom to 25°C in approximately eight minutes. Cool air is circulated through a low-noise electric fan, ensuring comfort and providing ventilation and air movement in the more humid months.

It also has a built-in “dry mode” feature, where the fan dehumidifies moist air by operating the heating and ventilation simultaneously. Aside from demystifying mirrors and helping to prevent mould, this handy feature is also able to dry up to 3.5 kilograms of wet clothes and towels in as little as three hours.

Panasonic has designed the bathroom heater and exhaust fan range to be low-maintenance and durable. Both the FV-30BY1 and FV-30BG3 heaters come with a wireless remote control.

“The FV-30BY1 is perfect for small-to-medium sized bathrooms where a single directional flow suffices. For larger bathrooms, the FV-30BG3 has adjustable air direction to ensure all corners receive the same levels of coverage,” says Onoe.
