Packed to the rafters
Trade tools developer Milwaukee has produced a storage solution for outfitting vans called the Packout Rack Kit.

It was inspired by research into the frustrations of trade professionals across various industries.
“Through our research in the field, we identified the most common frustrations professionals face with storage, and set out to solve them,” says George Mavrogiannis, Product Manager – Storage at Milwaukee.
The company found many vans had wasted space, shifting parts, and loose materials.

The Packout Rack Kit is designed with:
- Sliding drawers to help reduce time spent unstacking and searching through gear
- Adjustable drawer heights
- Adjustable leg heights to allow the rack to fit neatly above wheel wells or alongside rolling toolboxes
- A durable steel body and 22.7kg drawer capacity
- Optional compact side plates provide extra storage for frequently used items.
The kit can be stacked up to three racks high and expanded across the van wall, making it easy to grow alongside evolving project demands.
“The kit boosts productivity by reducing the time spent locating, sorting, and organising tools, resulting in faster restocks and van changeovers, ultimately saving users both time and money,” says Mavrogiannis.
