Pacific HVAC Engineering has welcomed a new shareholder to the business: Systemair AB of Sweden. The company’s two major Australian shareholders remain unchanged and continue to operate within the business.

Pacific HVAC Engineering says it saw synergies between the international expertise, experience and knowledge of Systemair and itself. The synergies fit with the firms’ future plans and growth strategies across the Asia-Pacific markets.

Pacific HVAC Engineering is a manufacturer and distributor of specialised HVAC equipment, offering a range of ventilation products. The company services the equipment needs of customers ranging from HVAC through to mining, manufacturing, construction, agriculture as well as retail end users.

Systemair was founded in 1974 with a pioneering idea in developing and introducing the circular inline centrifugal duct fan, which has simplified ventilation systems. The Systemair range has grown to include a wide range of energy-efficient fans, air-handling units, air-distribution products, air conditioning, air curtains and heating products.

“We welcome the expertise, experience and knowledge of Systemair,” says Pacific HVAC’s managing director Sudevan Nallathamby. “Our new shareholder will complement Pacific HVAC Engineering, our product range and future plans. We look forward to seeing our growth within the Australian, New Zealand and the Asia-Pacific markets continue.”
