MHIAA and Haier win 2026 ProductReview awards
Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Air-Conditioners Australia (MHIAA) has taken out two of ProductReview.com’s customer awards in the split system air conditioner category, with Haier taking out the other spot.

The awards are based on verified reviews on ProductReview.com from customers who have purchased and used the product. According to the website, products are assessed on the following criteria, as rated by customers:
- Build quality
- Value for money
- Ease of use
- Cleaning and maintenance
- Noise level
- Heating and cooling speed.
The Haier Tempo series was one of the three winners named for 2026, with an overall product rating of 4.9 stars out of 5. It performed particularly well in ease of use and value for money.
MHIAA products won the other two accolades in the split system category with its Bronte and Avanti series of air conditioners, both of which received overing ratings of 4.7 stars. The Bronte series – which MHIAA says is designed for large spaces and open plan areas – comes in 7.1–9.5kW models and has won the ProductReview.com award for seven consecutive years. The smaller Avanti series (2–5kW) has been awarded in five of the past six years.
“We are truly humbled and proud to receive this recognition from our customers,” says MHIAA Managing Director Akihiro Nakajima. “To be chosen and trusted by Australians, year after year, is the greatest reward for our teams. These awards reinforce our commitment to engineering excellence and our responsibility to deliver reliable comfort to the homes and families we serve.”
