Bitzer appoints new Chief Sales and Marketing Officer

Global HVAC&R company Bitzer has appointed Martin Büchsel as a new member of the executive board and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer. He replaces Gianni Parlanti, who is resigning from his position and returning to his home country as Managing Director of Bitzer Italia at his own request.

Büchsel has held leading positions at various companies belonging to the Freudenberg Group in Germany, France and the USA since 2003. In 2012, he started to work for EagleBurgmann, a subsidiary of the Freudenberg Group. He held different positions there, including Vice President Sales and Marketing. He also studied business administration and mechanical engineering.

Chief Operations Officer Christian Wehrle has welcomed the new appointment.

With 30 years of experience in the industry, Gianni Parlanti is a true refrigeration and air conditioning expert who has brought Bitzer a great step forward – especially when looking at the further diversification of the group. We are all very pleased that he will remain with the company in his new role as Managing Director of Bitzer Italia and Green Point Servizi Industriali. As Managing Director of Bitzer Italia, Parlanti will be responsible for one of the company’s most important markets in the EMEA region. He succeeds Andrea Zocche who retired at the end of last year.
