Refrigerant Reclaim Australia (RRA) has appointed Greg Brooker, Affil.AIRAH, to the role of Board Chair and named Paul Campbell as its new Secretary/Treasurer. Brooker replaces John McCormack, while Campbell is stepping in for Kevin O’Shea, with both McCormack and O’Shea relinquishing their roles after long Board tenures.
“John and Kevin’s contributions have been instrumental in guiding RRA through significant milestones, strengthening the organisation’s commitment to the environment and industry innovation,” RRA says.
“The contributions of both Board members have been pivotal in advancing the organisation’s mission to reduce emissions from the HVAC sector, promoting environmental stewardship within the refrigerant industry.”
RRA’s Board of Directors expressed its gratitude to the duo for their “exemplary service, commitment, and vision” over 20 years.
“It has been a privilege to observe the industry’s unified support for RRA,” McCormack says, “and to see every Director who has joined our Board demonstrate a profound commitment to our mission, driven by a deep-seated belief in our cause.”
A 50-year veteran of the RAC industry, O’Shea is a member of the ARBS board and President both of RACCA Australia and RACCA NSW. Awarded an AM for his services to the industry, he has also been inducted into the ARBS Hall of Fame.
RRA says Brooker, Refrigerant Specialist for Actrol, has a proven track record of leadership across Australia and New Zealand.
Campbell, meanwhile, boasts 34 years of experience in leadership roles for the Beijer Ref Group.
RRA has also named Stacey Kershaw-Brant as the organisation’s new Communication Manager.
“We are looking forward to the positive contributions these staff movements will bring to RRA’s ongoing success and growth,” RRA says.
