The International Network of Women in Cooling (INWIC) has launched a new mentorship program in celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8.
The free online service aims to connect women professionals in the refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pumps (RACHP) sector globally, fostering knowledge exchange and career development.
INWIC President-Elect and AIRAH President Mikaila Ganado, M.AIRAH, says the initiative is pivotal in connecting professionals globally, providing a free platform for women who may not otherwise have access to mentors and offering invaluable insights from industry professionals worldwide.
“I am confident the program will facilitate long-term change, yielding benefits for both the RACHP industry and the communities in which we live,” she says.
The purpose of the program is to build a skilled and empowered workforce by offering an accessible platform for women and is designed to be inclusive and accessible to professionals at all levels – such as technicians, engineers, managers, and industry leaders. The program’s global reach also connects mentees with experienced professionals from around the world, facilitating the exchange of expertise and fresh perspectives across borders.
Women from the cooling sector are invited to join as mentors or mentees. Click here for more information.
