Testo releases automated vacuum pump for refrigeration evacuation

Testo has announced the Australian release of its 565i vacuum pump, which automatically evacuates refrigeration systems and heat pumps.

Evacuations are an important part of the commissioning and maintenance of refrigeration systems and heat pumps. They ensure the efficient performance and longevity of a system by removing unwanted foreign gases and moisture. However, this process can take several hours, especially in the case of larger systems.

According to Testo, the automated 565i system saves customers time and offer them greater flexibility in their daily work.

When the required vacuum target values are reached, the system stops evacuation automatically and then starts the vacuum holding test. After a one-off configuration, the evacuation process runs entirely on its own, allowing the technician to start filling the system immediately in the next step and view all the data collected on system tightness.

The pump also features Wi-Fi connectivity and integrates with the Testo Smart App. The allows technicians to control the entire evacuation process by smartphone and save or send all the collected data as a measurement report.

Testo guarantees that the new vacuum pump is safe to use with flammable class A3 and A2L refrigerants.
