Australian owned and operated firm Embelton Engineering is celebrating 100 years of operation. Founded in February 1925, Embelton has grown from a small agency business representing British industrial suppliers to a significant player in noise and vibration isolation across Australia’s construction and industrial sectors.
The company’s early years saw a diversification into independent trading and manufacturing, including the production of industrial cork materials. For more than 75 years, cork products played a major role in Embelton’s business, laying the foundation for its current specialisation in acoustical engineering.
In the 1960s, the company began developing spring and rubber isolator systems to meet the growing demand for controlling structure-borne noise in the built environment.
“As Embelton embarks on its second century, it remains a leader in engineering solutions,” the company says in a statement. “With an unwavering commitment to delivering cutting-edge noise and vibration isolation systems, Embelton continues to shape the future of Australia’s built environment, driving innovation for generations to come.”
