CAREL to host HVAC&R software webinar
CAREL’s upcoming webinar will introduce STone Virtual Loop, a digital tool that allows developers to test and validate HVAC&R software in a virtual environment.

CAREL will hold a free webinar on Tuesday, December 9 at 5pm AEDT to introduce STone Virtual Loop, a digital platform designed to support HVAC&R software development through virtual testing and validation. The 45-minute session, delivered in English, is aimed at professionals involved in developing and designing HVAC&R systems.
The webinar will be led by Matteo Galenda, CAREL Application Specialist for HVAC Residential, and Simone Armano, CAREL SSD HVAC & Food Retail Manager. Together, they will explain how the STone Virtual Loop environment can be used to emulate HVAC&R system behaviour before physical testing begins.
The platform uses virtual models of real thermodynamic units to simulate system performance and interactions. This approach allows development teams to examine system behaviour in a controlled digital environment, helping reduce time and resource requirements while improving code stability and verification processes. By applying digital twin principles, STone Virtual Loop offers a practical tool for development, validation and ongoing maintenance work.
The session provides an opportunity for attendees to explore how virtualisation is influencing software development practices across the air-conditioning and refrigeration sectors.
You can register for free via Zoom.
